Covid 19 Updates
July 20th start Southern Ireland
The Irish government released the 'road map' for lifting lockdown restrictions on Friday May 1st and most hospitality centres will open on July 20th if all goes well up to then. The boating holiday sector have submitted a protocol document to the department of tourism in the hope that they may allow special dispensation - being on a boat is pretty much isolation and social distancing will be much the same if the crew were at home. It may be some weeks before this document is even considered but we remain hopeful. You can view the different phases of the roadmap Here.
May 29th start Northern Ireland
Cruiser companies on Lough Erne are now taking bookings for cruises from May 29th. All of the cruiser companies on Lough Erne are offering refunds for cruises that are cancelled due to Covid 19 that are booked from May 14th onwards.
You can still book a Shannon Cruise for this year but you should be aware that in line with most of the international travel industry most of the cruiser companies aren't offering refunds for payments made on cruises. If you have an existing booking or if you make a new booking you can postpone the booking up to 48 hours before departure and any payments made will be kept as a credit that can be used during the 2020 or 2021 seasons.
We wish everybody well during these strange times and we're still available if you have cruise related queries, see our Contact Information.
