We had a wonderful family holiday. The children loved it as did my husband & I. We were a bit disappointed with facilities and activities along the way - Dromod was by far the best place to moor. There is a lovely resturant near Quigleys Marina but it really wasnt signposted appropriately (we found it by chance)

Everything was very well organised
We thoroughly enjoyed our short break, cruising on the Shannon. Everything was very well organised from booking in through to car parking and understanding how the boat worked. It only took us a very short time to feel confident handling the boat. We had a brilliant time. It was the highlight of the holiday! Everyone at Banagher and on the lake was very helpful and the boat was great. Just right for 3 adults and it would even work for 4 adults if 2 don't mind sharing the small double. Though that would be tight. But 2 adults and 2 smaller children have plenty of space. The kids bought me the cruise for my 60th birthday, never done this before Myself and my wife Maria really enjoyed the 4 days spent on the Shannon the staff at Banagher were really helpful Noel & Vinny Really enjoyed Shannonbridge, Clonmacnoise going through the lock in Athlone, Hudson Bay and Portrunny As you can see we had a busy 4 days, the weather was good and the Shannon river was excellent
