A great way to see the countryside
Great service all round, from everyone, boat was ideal for us. Only glitch was on the last evening when a mechanical malfunction caused the top controls to fail.
Would do it again, a great way to see the countryside and some beautiful villages.The entire staff at Carrick-on-Shannon were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even though on our first night there the key we had would not unlock the showers/toilets. On our final night we had to get another key in order to be able to use the facilities.
The dinette on our PB1400 did not convert into a single berth so I had to sleep on the b...

I would like to say we had a fantastic time on the Shannon.
I would like to say we had a fantastic time on holiday on the Shannon. It was probably the best holiday we have ever had. The staff were genuinely helpful and pleasant and the boat and linen were clean and fresh. We will be using Shannon River Boat Hire again next year. Thanks for a truly great service.
